mentorship subscriptions and services. This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for
cancelling your subscription or individual services.
2. Subscription Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your
current billing period.
- Cancellation Notice Required: 7 days notice before the next billing date
- Billing Cycle: Monthly or Annual, depending on your subscription plan
- Access Continuation: You will retain access to your mentorship services until the
end of your paid billing period
3. Session-Based Cancellation
For cancellations of individual mentorship sessions:
- Notice Period: 24 hours minimum - You must cancel at least 24 hours before the
scheduled session
- Credits: If cancelled with proper notice, your session credit will be restored to
your account
- Rescheduling: You may reschedule your session instead of cancelling (subject to
mentor availability)
- Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session may
forfeit the session credit
4. Mentor-Initiated Cancellations
If a mentor cancels a scheduled session:
- If cancelled more than 24 hours in advance: Full credit is restored and you receive an alternative
time slot offer
- If cancelled less than 24 hours in advance: Full credit is restored plus a bonus credit as
compensation
- You will be notified via email and within the platform about the cancellation
5. Cancellation Duration - Important Timelines
Please note the following cancellation-related timelines:
- Subscription Cancellation: 7 days notice required before next billing date
- Session Cancellation by User: 24 hours notice required before session start time
- Session Cancellation by Mentor: Minimum notice not specified, but we encourage 24+
hours
- Processing Time: Cancellation requests are processed within 24-48 hours of receipt
- Refund Timeline: If eligible for refund, funds will be returned within 5-7 business
days
6. How to Cancel Your Subscription
To cancel your subscription, follow these steps:
- Log in to your TryMentor account
- Navigate to "Account Settings" > "Subscriptions"
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Provide the reason for cancellation (optional)
- Confirm your cancellation request
- You will receive a confirmation email with cancellation details
7. How to Cancel a Session
To cancel an individual mentorship session:
- Log in to your TryMentor account
- Navigate to "My Sessions" or "Scheduled Sessions"
- Select the session you wish to cancel
- Click "Cancel Session"
- Confirm your cancellation (ensure 24 hours notice is maintained)
- Your session credit will be restored
8. Cancellation Fees
There are no cancellation fees for cancelling your subscription or individual sessions,
provided you meet the notice requirements outlined in this policy.
9. Partial Month Cancellations
If you cancel your subscription mid-month:
- You will retain access for the remainder of the current month
- No refund will be issued for the partial month unless you cancel within 7 days of the subscription
start date
- Any remaining session credits will be forfeited if you do not use them before month-end
10. Reactivation of Cancelled Subscriptions
If you wish to reactivate your cancelled subscription:
- You can reactivate within 30 days of cancellation without losing your mentorship history or
preference list
- Reactivation is subject to the terms and conditions in place at the time of reactivation
- Any new pricing or promotion may apply
- After 30 days, you will be treated as a new user and must start fresh
11. Auto-Renewal Opt-Out
If you prefer not to have your subscription automatically renewed:
- You can opt-out of auto-renewal by disabling it in your account settings at least 7 days before the
renewal date
- Your subscription will not renew at the end of your current billing period
- You will receive reminder emails before your subscription expires
12. Exceptional Circumstances
In exceptional cases where cancellation may have been delayed due to technical issues or unforeseen
circumstances, please contact our support team. We will review your case and may provide a refund or
credit at our discretion.
